Applied through their customer care email. Got a response for denial. They said they stopped match a couple of years ago. Status match is not everyone cup of tea. It takes some creativity and guts for a customer service rep to do it. Most of the time they copy and paste a reply mentioned in their rule book. I am sure if they discuss such cases with their managers, they would get approval. But who wants to go that extra mile these days.
